I've never done yoga, how do I get started?
If you've never done yoga before, there are a lot of things you can do to get acquainted. Look for beginner yoga videos online to see some of the movements, then ask yogi friends for referrals and/or research local studios near you that have beginner or basic-level yoga classes. If there aren't any, simply go to an all-levels class and tell the instructor you're new to yoga. In my experience, great yoga teachers will accommodate and work with you to help get you started.
We all want you to enjoy your yoga practice and come back!
About Us
What should I bring to class?
When possible, bring your own yoga mat and any props you feel you need for your practice. While we do have props at the studio, we recommend you bring your own for comfort. As such, please try to bring yoga blocks and a strap along with your mat. If available, bring a blanket as well for cushion under the knees or to keep warm during Savasana. You may also want to bring water to hydrate and a hand towel, there is a water machine onsite and if you forget anything you're welcome to use wash clothes from the bathroom as well.
What should I wear?
It's ideal to wear something comfortable and light weight that allows you to move freely throughout your yoga practice. It is recommended that you prepare to practice in bare feet as socks can slip or get stuck when you move your feet along your mat.

Do I need to bring or wear a mask to practice?
As of April 2022, we are providing a mask-optional environment.
